Dollar at upper 109 yen level in Tokyo
TOKYO, Aug. 25 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands at the upper 109 yen level early Monday in Tokyo.

    The dollar was quoted at 109.91-96 yen at 9 a.m., compared with 110.03-13 yen in New York and 109.10-11 yen in Tokyo at 5:00 p.m. Friday.

    The euro traded at 1.4777-4782 dollars and 162.45-50 yen, against 1.4789-4799 dollars and 162.80-90 yen in New York and 1.4863-4864 dollars and 162.16-20 yen in Tokyo late Friday
